DU LLB Eligibility Criteria 2017



University of Delhi will announce eligibility criteria of DU LLB 2017 along with the examination notification. DU LLB 2017 eligibility criteria mentions minimum requirement for admissions to three-year law programmes at Delhi University, Faculty of Law. According to DU LLB eligibility criteria, candidates need to meet the academic qualification as well as age bar to fulfil conditions for the LLB entrance examination of Delhi University. The DU LLB aspirant needs to have a graduation degree with a minimum qualifying score and should not be more than 30 years of age. Those who meet the mentioned these eligibility criteria of Delhi University LLB entrance examination can apply and appear for the law entrance exam.

Eligibility for DU LLB Application Form 2017

Before filling online application form, candidates are required to read and understand DU LLB eligibility criteria 2017. Delhi University has mentioned some important conditions for appearing in the law entrance examination of the university, which is called eligibility criteria. According to the eligibility for DU LLB applications 2017, candidates need to be a Graduate Degree or Postgraduate degree holder from the University of Delhi or any equivalent university recognised by University Grants Commission.

Moreover, the candidate should have scored a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects studied at graduation or post-graduation degree programme.

Besides the academic qualification, candidates should be below the age of 30 years as on July 1 of the admission year.

DU LLB Application Form 2017



The University of Delhi has begun application form of DU LLB 2017 on June 12. The date has been postponed for the second time in row as earlier it was to be announced on June 7 and before this, the DU LLB application forms were to begin from May 31, 2017. Candidates who wish to appear for the Delhi University law entrance examination need to fill DU LLB 2017 application form and have to register online through an official link in this page. The candidates need to fill the DU LLB application form only online as no other application mode will be entertained by the central university. Moreover, candidates will have to remit an application fee of Rs. 500 using online payment options–Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card. DU LLB application form 2017 duly filled should be submitted online before the last date of closure of online application window. It’s advised to the candidates to keep a copy of the online filled application form of DU LLB 2017 for future correspondences.

DU LLB Admit Card 2017



Delhi University, Faculty of Law will be issuing admit card of DU LLB 2017 in June. DU LLB 2017 admit card will be issued online and no hard copy of the DU LLB admit card will be sent to any of the candidates under any circumstances. Candidates will have to download their admit cards of Delhi University law entrance examination as they are considered as hall ticket for appearing in the DU LLB entrance. The hall ticket of DU LLB 2017 can be accessed by logging into the registered account of the applicants. DU LLB Admit Card/ Hall Ticket mentions details of the examination and candidature including roll number, examination timing and complete address of the DU LLB exam centre. It’s advised to keep a copy of DU LLB 2017 admit card safe unless the undergraduate law admissions in the central university for the current year is complete. No duplicate admit card of DU LLB 2017 will be issued once the examination is conducted.



DU LLB Syllabus 2017

DU LLB Cut off 2017



Delhi University will determine cut off of DU LLB 2017 for admissions to three-year LLB programme in the central university. Candidates who meet DU LLB 2017 cut off will be shortlisted for attending counselling process of Delhi University law admissions. The DU LLB cut off will be minimum marks required to be called in for the undergraduate law counselling. DU LLB Counselling 2017


The University of Delhi, Faculty of Law will be organising counselling of DU LLB 2017 in July. Candidates who are in the merit list and meet cut off for the Delhi University law admissions will be called in for attending DU LLB 2017 counselling. The candidates will need to participate in the DU LLB counselling according to their secured rank as mentioned in merit list of DU LLB 2017. Candidates attending the counselling process for Delhi University law admissions need to note that if any candidate is found ineligible according to the eligibility criteria of DU LLB, their candidature will get cancelled and no further request will be entertained in this regard. The DU LLB counselling is the last step of admission process for getting enrolled in the three-year LLB programmes which involves seat allotment after document verification. The central university may hold as many as six rounds of DU LLB counselling 2017 for admissions to the undergraduate law programmes in the university.

DU LLB Seat Allotment 2017


The central university will be allotting seats of DU LLB 2017 for those candidates who are found eligible for admissions to three-year LLB programmes in Delhi University, Faculty of Law. DU LLB 2017 seat allotment is a process involved in the counselling for Delhi University law admissions. The DU LLB seat allotment will be carried on in accordance with the merit list of DU LLB 2017, which means the candidate will be allotted seats according to their secured ranks. In case any candidate is found ineligible for the DU LLB admissions, the next candidate in the merit of the DU LLB 2017 rank list will be allotted the LLB seat. Moreover, candidates need to be present on the scheduled date for attending seat allotment process. Once the candidate has been allocated a seat in any of the law institutes of Delhi University, he/ she needs to pay the admission fees and complete the admission formalities for 3-year LLB programmes.





DU LLB Participating Institutes 2017


Delhi University conducts DU LLB 2017 entrance examination for offering admissions into three law institutes affiliated under the central university. DU LLB entrance examination is a gateway to admissions into the three-year LLB programmes offered at the three DU law campuses namely, Campus Law Centre, Law Centre I and Law Centre II. While Campus Law Centre and Law Centre I is located in the North Campus of the university, a candidate needs to visit DU South Campus if enrolled in Law Centre II of Delhi University.

DU LLB Seats and Reservation 2017


The University of Delhi is offering as many as 2310 seats across its three law centres. Among the 2310 offered seats in three-year LLB programme of the central university though DU LLB entrance examination, a total of 1167 seats have been set aside for Open Category, whereas there are 623 seats reserved for OBC candidates.


Till last year Delhi University offered as many as 2611 LLB seats including 301 seats reserved for supernumerary candidates including Physically Handicapped, War Widows and Foreign Nationals. How to fill DU LLB Application Form 2017

DU LLB 2017 application form filling is a four-step process which begins with online registration for the Delhi University LLB entrance examination and ends with submission of filled-in application form of DU LLB 2017. Candidates can find below step-wise form filling process of DU LLB application 2017.

Step 1 – Online registration for DU LLB entrance exam 2017

In the first step of filling application form of DU LLB 2017, candidates will need to register for the law entrance examination for which he/ she needs to provide some basic personal details.
  1. Click on the official link of DU LLB 2017 application form.
  2. Click on ‘New User’ for beginning online DU LLB 2017 registration.
  3. Provide the required details for online registration of DU LLB 2017 including name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number.
  4. Once the candidates have registered for Delhi University LLB entrance exam, they will obtain DU LLB 2017 account login credentials including login id and password at their registered email.

Step 2 – Filling online DU LLB application form 2017

In the second step of filling DU LLB 2017 application form, candidates will have to fill other mandatory fields including academic, and address details. Moreover, candidates will also have to upload scanned copies of some important documents in this document, further moving ahead to payment of application fees of DU LLB 2017.
  1. Enter registered e-mail id and password.
  2. Type the captcha code in the provided box.
  3. Click on ‘Login’ button.

  7. Enter academic qualifications in the respective fields given.

  10. Click on ‘Save Application’ tab.
  11. Click on ‘Pay Fee’ tab or ‘Modify Application’ tab to make required changes in the application form.

Step 3 – Payment of fees for DU LLB application form 2017

Candidates need to pay application fee for DU LLB 2017 entrance in online mode. Candidates need to remit the DU LLB 2017 application fee using any of the online payment options–Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. As they click on ‘Pay DU LLB 2017 application fee’ option, the online application system of DU LLB entrance exam will redirect them to the online payment page where they can choose any of the given options and pay the fee securely. Step 4 – Online submission of DU LLB application form 2017

Answer
Sorry, you cannot modify any detail or make any change in the ‘Applicant’s details’ field, once you have generated a login id and password or have registered for DU LLB 2017 entrance examination. Moreover, a unique email id is required for DU LLB 2017 registrations. Therefore, it is advised to make the necessary changes or furnish correct information during DU LLB online registration process 2017.

Question: Can I change my DU LLB exam centre 2017 preference after I have registered through the online application system of DU LLB 2017?
Answer:
 No, you cannot change your examination centre preference either, once you have been generated a login id. The DU LLB examination centre as chosen by you during the online registration for Delhi University LLB applications will be deemed final and only an exam centre will be allotted to you for appearing in the law entrance exam.

Question: Can I submit the DU LLB application 2017 fees through offline mode using Demand Draft/ e-Challan option?
Answer
No, Delhi University promotes an online application system and therefore the application fees can only be remitted using online payment options including Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking. Question: While filling DU LLB application form 2017, internet got failed. What should I do now?
Answer:
 Once you get an access to internet, login in again using DU LLB 2017 login id and password and fill the application form of DU LLB 2017.

Answer:

A candidate can pay the DU LLB application fees till the last date of submission of application forms, after which no application form will be submitted and no communication will be entertained in this regard.
