Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) Board and Recruitment in Banks

Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) Board and Recruitment in Banks

Many candidates are upset with the rules (setting minimum percentile in graduation marks) of recruiting banks whom are selecting on the IBPS CWE score card.(A news in Amar Ujala Lucknow)

Candidates said, IBPS not specified - Graduation in CWE for Bank Proabtionary Officer exam and no minimum percentile criteria. And they are cheated & will go to court.

Therer are two possibility from both sides -
From candidates perspective -
Why IBPS takes exam. If they are not eligible for Bank PO Job ?
**************
From banks perspective -
IBPS is not final recruitment agency, it gives a score card through CWE (Common Written Exam),
Banks have there choices to set minimum elgibility criteria along with CWE score card.

So many examination of PO conducted by IBPS earlier to this for screening purpose and after that Banks are finalizing selection through there interviews. And through this sometimes many candidates who obtain good marks in PO exam may not have chance for selection in PO.
