Eligibility: The candidate should be qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (for class I to V) conducted by CBSE.

Upper Age Limit: For Male – 30 years, For Female – 40 Years as on 01.07.2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Qualification: Candidates with Graduation in the specific subject with B.Ed. can apply.

TGT (English/Maths/Social Science/ Natural Science!): Main subject for TGT (Natural Science Physical Science) shall be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology. For TGT (Social Science) main subjects are History! Political Science! Economics! Business studies! Sociology/ Geography/ Psychology. Candidates with Graduation in two school subjects of which at least one out of the four. Namely (i) English (ii) Mathematics (iii) Natural Science! Physical Science and (iv) Social Science should have been at the elective level. Candidates with B.Ed and working knowledge of Hindi can apply for TGT.

TGT (MIL-Hindi/ Sanskrit/ Punjabi/Urdu): SA (Hon.) in one of the Modern Language (MIL) concerned Or B.A with MIL concerned as one of the elective subject with one additional language or one school subject at degree level Or Equivalent Oriental Degree in MIL concerned Or Sahitya Rattan of Hindi Sahita Sammelan Prayag (For Hindi Teachers only) with English in Matriculation B.Ed! Sr. Anglo Vernacular Certificate. Knowledge or Hindi essential.

(Amended Rules for Urdu): Candidates who possess qualification equivalent to secondary (10TH), Sr. Secondary (12TH) or equivalent from recognized/approved Madarsas and for admitting to B.A. degree and after that higher courses like B.Ed from a recognized institutions by the UGC are also eligible to apply

1. Primary Teachers are proposed to be engaged in Sarvodaya Schools of Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi under the scheme of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). District wise tentative vacancies (subject to variation) are as follows: -Total Vacancies - 284

East -41,NorthEast-40, North-19, North West -A-15,North West B- 50,West A- 10, West B-29, South West A-15, South West B- 6, South -49, Central - 10

2. These teachers are proposed to be engaged purely on contract basis till 31.03.2015.

3. The Consolidated salary of Rs. 27000/- per month will be paid to these teachers. No extra allowance will be admissible.

4. Essential:- a. Candidates with Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a Recognized Board.
   b. Two years diploma or certificate course in Elementary Teachers Education Course/Junior
Basic Training or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent from a recognized institution.
c. Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level.

5. As per Delhi Gazette Notification dated 07.10.201 1, only those candidates who are qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (for class I to V) conducted by CBSE will be
considered for appointment of teachers for class I to V in the Sarvodaya schools of Delhi.

6. Recruitment Rules in detail are available on the website of Directorate of Education www.edudel.nic.in. Those who fulfill educational qualification, as specified in Recruitment
Rules (RRs) shall only apply.

7. Age:-I. Age as on 01.07.2014
   2. 30 years for all candidates.
   3. Age relaxable for 5 years in case ofSC/ST candidates.
   4. Age relaxable for 3 years in case orOBe candidates.
   5. Age relexable for candidates with disabilities- 10 years (General),
   15 years in the case SC/ST (PH) and 13 years in the case of aBC (PH).

8. The certificate of aBC should be issued by authority of GNCT of Delhi. For SC/ST Posts, candidates from other States can be considered.

9. The teachers would be engaged on the basis of merit in academic performance of the applicant at different level (X, XII and Two years diploma or certificate course in Elementary. Teachers Education Course/Junior Basic Training or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent from a recognized institution) and weight-age would be given to candidates who have worked as teacher under SSA during the year 2013-14 only in any DoE school.

10. Reservation will be provided as applicable under rules in the Directorate of Education.

11. Teachers employed on contract basis can be deployed in any school within the District in which he/she applies. Candidates can apply only in one district for a given post.

12. Willing candidates may apply online on our website www.edudel.nic.in latest by 21.06.2014 in anyone of the districts of their choice.
The applicant shall fill up his or her name exactly as recorded in the certificate of Secondary! Sr. Secondary Board Examination, failing which application shall be summarily rejected. No change in the application form will be entertained after submission.

NASA scientist designs faster-than-light spacecraft

A NASA scientist and a renowned graphic artist have teamed up to produce designs for a vessel that may someday allow human beings to travel the universe and beyond in a first-of-its-kind warp drive spacecraft faster than light.

Impressive illustrations of the work-in-progress — NASA’s New Design for a Warp Drive Ship” — made their way to the web this week while NASA researcher Harold White and Dutch artist

Mark Rademaker continue to fine-tune the concept behind a type of craft that may actually be able to travel faster than the speed of light.

White, a physicist for the aeronautics administration that has been studying a faster-than-light propulsion concept for years, has previously gone public with his research concerning a craft capable of that sort of travel. As far back as 2011, in fact, he attracted the attention of other scientists by publishing a report that set out to prove the feasibility of the F-T-L propulsion concept. Now for the first time, his cohort has come up with designs that begin to show the sort of spacecraft they’re striving to create.

"My own designs for the most part followed these guidelines. I do put research in things like era, events in the Trek timeline, plausible registry numbers and specifications of a ship. I put about three months of research in theXCV-330Ringship that Matt Jefferies sketched in the 1960s. I was asked to convert that sketch/blueprint as a 3D CGI model, I wanted it to look spot on,” the artist told CNET.

Speaking to io9, Rademaker said his latest design “includes a sleek ship nestled at the center of two enormous rings, which create the warp bubble” that would, in theory, make White’s F-T-L propulsion plan possible.

“Essentially, the empty space behind a starship would be made to expand rapidly, pushing the craft in a forward direction — passengers would perceive it as movement despite the complete lack of acceleration,” io9’s George Dvorsky added in his report.

“White speculates that such a drive could result in ‘speeds’ that could take a spacecraft to Alpha Centauri in a mere two weeks — even though the system is 4.3 light-years away.”

“Perhaps a Star Trek experience within our lifetime is not such a remote possibility,” White said previously of his plans.

प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से पहली बार 2011 में हुई थी शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा

इलाहाबाद :प्रदेश के सचिव परीक्षा नियामक प्राधिकारी की ओर से शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (टीईटी)-2014 के आयोजन की तैयारी शुरू हो गई है। सचिव परीक्षा नियामक प्राधिकारी टीईटी 2014 के लिए प्रस्ताव तैयार करके शासन की तैयारी में जुटी हैं। इसे शीघ्र सरकार के पास भेज दिया जाएगा।
परीक्षा नवंबर-दिसंबर में कराने की तैयारी है। सरकार एक ओर जहां चौथी बार टीईटी कराने की तैयारी में तो पहली बार 2011 में टीईटी पास करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को ही नौकरी का इंतजार है। इसके बाद 2012 एवं 2013 में टीईटी पास करने वालों को नौकरी कब मिलेगी, इसको लेकर सरकार के पास जवाब नहीं है। तीन बार टीईटी पास किसी भी अभ्यर्थी को नौकरी नहीं मिल सकी है।
प्रदेश के प्राथमिक और उच्च प्राथमिक विद्यालयों में भर्ती के लिए 2010-11 में पहली बार शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (टीईटी) कराई गई थी। पहली बार टीईटी पास होने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को तीन साल बाद भी नौकरी नहीं मिल सकी है। 2011 में प्रदेश सरकार ने टीईटी पास अभ्यर्थियों के लिए 72825 पदों की घोषणा की थी। टीईटी 2011 के विवादों में होने के कारण ही सरकार एवं कोर्ट की ओर से बार-बार आदेशों केबाद भी शिक्षक भर्ती पूरी नहीं हो सकी है। इसके लिए सरकार को एनसीटीई से भी चयन प्रक्रिया को आगे बढ़ाने का आग्रह करना पड़ा था।
प्रदेश शासन की ओर से सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश के अनुरूप दो महीने के भीतर मई के अंतिम सप्ताह में भी भर्ती पूरी करनी थी। लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान प्रदेश सरकार इन पदों की भर्ती प्रक्रिया शुरू नहीं कर सकी है। बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग की ओर से इस भर्ती को लेकर तैयारी की सूचना है।
