This festive season will be all the more interesting and fun to witness as the three e-commerce giants of the country are going to take up the war with each other. While Amazon and Flipkart have already announced their festive sales starting from October 2, Snapdeal today also flagged off its mega Unbox Diwali Sale starting the same date.

This is the first time Snapdeal is organising a Diwali Sale. It  will run from 2nd - 6th October 2016 and will include exciting deals and offers across all categories available at Snapdeal.

To ensure the best deals and availability on products popular in the festive season, the Unbox Diwali sale has extensively leveraged consumer trends on the platform as per the inputs generated from its expanded Data Centre established earlier this year. Snapdeal has recently announced free shipping, next day deliveries, enhanced quality checks and an extended return period through its premium services bundle, Snapdeal Gold.

Snapdeal is closely working with its seller partners and has ramped-up logistics management across its 69 fulfillment centres to ensure round-the-clock availability of the most popular merchandise.

Flipkart also announced its Big Billion Days sale on Monday. The company last year sold goods worth $300 million,  during its five days Big Billion Days sale from 13th - 17th October.  According to a blog CashFat, the company will spend nearly Rs 30 crore on advertising and marketing for this sale this time. Amazon is also expected to hold the its festive sale from October 1 to October 5, 2016. The company may spend Rs 125-130 crore to promote the sale.
