Admittedly, the petitioner claims to have obtained 98 marks in the handicapped (hearing impaired) category. The contention is that the cut-off merit in District Hardoi came down to 95 marks and the petitioner was not called for counseling.
Learned Standing Counsel has been directed to place the cut-off merit list for reserved/hearing impaired category for District Hardoi for which the petitioner has laid his claim.�
As the fourth and final round of counseling is over on 14.1.2015 and the appointment letters are being issued to the selected candidates from 19.1.2015 onwards, this Court is not able to issue directions to respondents to hold the counseling.
However, the petitioner may approach respondent no. 2, who may consider the grievances of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
