UP Government to Launch Housing Scheme 2016 Under Samajwadi Awas Yojna
Lucknow: On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh State Government has announced to launch Samajwadi Awas Yojna 2016 with the aim to construct 3 lakh houses in the next year 2016. The step is made to provide affordable housing to all medium income group of the society.
The source said that the Samajwadi Awas Yojna would be launched to benefit MIG Category and the step would be made for their benefit besides fixing ceiling rates for apartments. The Houses constructed under the Samajwadi Awas Yojna would available in the price range of Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh. In this policy the authority has decided that the land use conversion would be free of cost.
According to the source the government has decided to fix ceiling on per square feet rate of the apartments. The rates in NCR (National Capital Region) will not exceed Rs. 3,000 per Square feet; Rs. 2,800 in metro & Rs. 2,500 in other cities. The concession will also be offered to those which include rebate in the stamp duty and single window clearance. For land use conversion the government has also framed bylaws.
According to the source the government has implemented the Land Use Conversion Rule in the state. Earlier the rule was limited only to smaller plots while now the act is included in the rule which also cover bigger plots to receive the benefits of this land rule.
