A teacher in Assam, who has a history of molestation charges, posted obscene photos of himself with some of his students online. Police is being questioned for their inaction.
The small town of Katlicherra in Hailakandi district of Assam has witnessed an abominable act.
A male teacher, identified as Faizuddin Laskar, clicked obscene photos with some of his minor female students, and posted them online.
Faizuddin is a teacher at Model High School, Katllicherra.
If local channel DY-365 is to be believed, Faizuddin is a "serial offender".
Since the photos were posted on the internet, they have been shared across social media platforms.
This incident might take a cue from the Bollywood movie, Haraamkhor. The film showed how Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is a teacher in the movie, gets involved with one of his students.
Towards the end, things indeed get ugly, but not as ugly as this Assam incident.
The local channel, which broke the news, reported that in the past, Faizuddin was roughed by a mob after he was caught molesting a woman.
Angered by the incident, the mob severed his finger.
After the photos went viral, parents of one of the girls filed an FIR against the teacher.
Incidentally, police interrogated Faizuddin, but did not arrest him.
