Hon'ble Dinesh Kumar Singh,J.
1. These petitions have been filed by the petitioners who have been declared as qualified for selection against 41,556 vacancies of Assistant Teachers in Primary Schools run by U.P. Basic Shiksha Parishad.
2. It is not in dispute that the petitioners have committed some human inadvertent error while filling up online forms after declaration of the result.
3. The submission of learned counsels for the petitioners is that if these qualified candidates are allowed to correct these minor mistakes in filling up online forms, neither selection process nor result would be affected in any manner.
4. There is acute shortage of teachers in the State and under the Right to Education Act, 2009, the teacher student ratio has to be maintained as per the provisions of the Act and the Rules framed thereunder. The petitioners have committed some inadvertent human errors in filling up online forms. If the petitioners are allowed to correct these mistakes at the time of counseling or at any time as per convenience of the competent authority, this would not impact the result of any candidate or over all selection process.
5. I find that one chance for correcting the mistakes to these candidates should be afforded at an appropriate stage by the competent authority so that human errors/ mistakes of these candidates in filling up online forms are corrected.
6. With these observations, the concerned authorities are directed to allow the petitioners to correct these inadvertent human mistakes in filling up online forms at appropriate stage and allow them to participate in counseling.
7. These writ petitions, thus, are finally disposed of.
