CTET results declared, 97,919 pass - Of the total 79,4080 candidates registered for the test, 71,5050 had sat for the exam held on June 26.

The rationale for including the TET was to set a minimum qualification for a person to be eligible as a teacher, is that it will set national standards and be a benchmark of quality in the process of recruitment of teachers.
The TET consisted of two papers covering subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
CTET results declared, 97,919 pass - Of the total 79,4080 candidates registered for the test, 71,5050 had sat for the exam held on June 26.
The test was conducted in 1,178 centres and 81 cities across the country and two cities abroad.
The results can viewed in cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. It can also be viewed in national depository portals like nad.ndml.in/NAD, ndml.in and nad.co.in.

An official from the CBSE board said, “The exam results show a very alarming picture of the quality of education. This was not expected from CBSE schools. Measures have to be taken to boost the quality and the teachers who have not qualified will have to reappear for the exams.”
