PATNA: The Patna high court on Wednesday ordered that there would be no appointment of untrained teachers even if they have passed the teachers eligibility test (TET) for the posts of secondary and higher secondary teachers in government schools. The court also directed the state government to return the TET fee collected from the untrained teachers appeared at the test.
A single bench presided by Justice Samarendra Pratap Singh passed this order while hearing a writ petition of trained teachers, Prabhat Kumar and others, who challenged the decision of the state government to appoint the untrained teachers, who have passed the test, as secondary and higher secondary teachers.
The petitioner challenged this on the ground that the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) had not yet given clearance to the state government for the appointment of any teacher without having the BEd degree.

ReplyDeleteYahi chiz primary teacher me bhi lagu honi chahiye....kyuki a trained teacher very well knows how to teach the students and how to care them...students are the future of bihar and india so no compromise should be made with the quality of education...i respect the decesion og high court patna....i hope bihar govt. Will surely take positive action.....i salute the bihar govt and hc of bihar, patna......ONLY TRAINED CANDIDATES/TEACHERS SHOULD BE APPOINTED FOR THE EDUCATION OF OUR CHILDREN......JAY BIHAR JAI INDIA......RESPECT THE DECESION OF PATNA HIGH COURT
