Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) Examination will be
conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board on August
31, 2014 at several examination centers in the state.
The Chhattisgrah Professional Examination Board, Raipur has uploaded the CG TET Admit Card/Hall Ticket 2014 on its official website i.e. cgvyapam.choice.gov.in/
All questions in CG TET test will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of CG TET.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
Duration of examination is one-and-a-half hours for each paper.
CGTET Paper I (for classes I to V):
Structure and Content (All Compulsory) :
(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Total 150 MCQs 150 Marks
Exam time: 9:15 AM to 11:45 AM (Paper I) and 02:15 P.M to 04:45 P.M.(Paper II)
Candidates having completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible for taking the test for teacher for classes I to V.
Candidates having a graduation degree and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) degree can apply for teacher for classes VI to VIII.
