‘Passion for Teaching’
Toufeeq told Express Reshma is very passionate about becoming a teacher.
She has been preparing for TET for the past three months.
She did not expect to write the test in this condition, but she was determined to appear this year, he said.
Though he, her parents and other relatives appealed to her to write TET next time, she was determined not to miss the opportunity, he said. “She requested Dr Srimathi to allow her to appear for the test.
Medical Support
Dr Srimathi supported her by providing the necessary medical arrangements including an ambulance,” said Toufeeq.
Reshma left Bhadravati on Sunday at 8.15 am in the ambulance along with her one-day neonate, parents and husband. When the examination authorities did not permit her to write the examination inside the ambulance, she was moved to room number 15 of the college.
Hundreds of candidates who appeared for the examination appreciated Reshma’s drive and determination.
Toufeeq thanked all the hospital staff who were with his wife throughout the examination, who took care of both mother and child.
