Respondent :- State Of U.P.& 4 Ors.
Counsel for Petitioner :- K.D.Awasthi,G.S.Sen

Hon'ble Amreshwar Pratap Sahi,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
The petitioners are seeking appointment as Assistant Teachers without having passed the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). The reason given is that TET has not been held for the past two years.
This cannot be a ground to forgo the essential qualification as laid down by a Full Bench of this Court in the Case of Shiv Kumar Sharma Vs. State of U.P. and Others, decided on 31.05.2013.
The writ petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
