NOTICE
Subject : Recruitment for the posts of TGT (English, Hindi, Sanskri, Maths, Science and Social Studies) and Primary Teacher (PRT) in the KVS for the year 2011-12.
As per the provisions of sub-section (1) od section 23 of RTE Act, the Govt. of India vide Notification dated 23rd August 2010 has laid down the minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher to teach classes I to VIII. The eligibility for appointment as a teacher is that the candidate has to qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which will be conducted by appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE.
Please refer the Notice issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education published in the Times of India dated 08th April, 2011.
The Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) which will be applicable to the KVS also.
In view of the above, the candidates shortlisted in the preliminary examination held on 12th February, 2011 for the posts of TGT (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths, Science and Social Studies) and Primary Teacher are required to appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be conducted by the CBSE on 26th June, 2011 as per the terms & conditions of the CBSE Notice published in the Times of India / The Hindustan Times, New Delhi dated 08th April, 2011 to be eligible for appointment in KVS.
The KVS shall communicate the candidates, who have been shortlisted for appearing in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) based on their performance in the preliminary test held on 12th February, 2011. The list of such shortlisted candidates is available in this website.
The candidated who qualify in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are required to send the photocopy of their marks sheet of CTET alongwith an application indicating the post applied for ad Roll No. allotted to them for the preliminary examination addressed to the Deputy Commissioner (Admn.), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, 18 Institutional Area, Shaheed Jeet Singh Marg, New Delhi - 110016 by Registered/Speed Post within 15 days of the declaration of the CTET rsults, so as to inform about the Main Examination being conducted by the KVS.
