ICSE, ISC results on Saturday

Results for the Class XII Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Class X Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams will be announced the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations at 3 pm on Saturday. Last year, results for both examinations were announced two days earlier and students were worried that the results would get delayed this year.


This year, 1, 32,922 students appeared for the ICSE exam all over India of which 7,823 were from the city. In the case of ISC exams, 59,905 students appeared for the exam countrywide, of which 786 were from Mumbai. Candidates can view their results online while school principals have been given personalized passwords to view results of their schools.

Students can log on to www.cisce.indiaresults.com, www.cisce.examresults.net or www.cisce.timesofindia.com on May 19 after 3 pm. Students can also get information via SMS by typing ICSE/ISC and sending it to 51818, 56263 or 54242.

CBSE class X, XII results likely to be declared in coming week, ICSE class X results on May 19

Chandigarh The results of the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) Class X and XII examination conducted this year, are likely to be declared in the coming week. The exact date for the results has not yet been specified by the board.
The result of Indian School for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X examination will be declared on May 19 at 3 pm, and Class XII results will be declared in the third week of this month.

Students can visit the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) website to view the results.

According to CBSE officials, students will receive SMS alerts on their respective mobile numbers registered with the board, when the results will be declared.

Students will be provided specific phone numbers on which they can either call or SMS and seek results after providing their roll numbers.

The results will be uploaded on the website of the board, and students will also be able to view their results on a separate link created for results at the website. Students will only have to provide their roll numbers and names on the link.

The phone numbers where students can call and ask for the result details have not yet been released by the board.

CBSE Regional Director RJ Khanderao said, “We have to identify service providers for the purpose of telephonic access to results. Soon we will release the numbers on our website. We will recommend students and parents to check the updates on the website on a daily basis.”

For CBSE Class X, the results will be declared in terms of grades and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) calculated out of 10 points. For CBSE Class XII, marks are calculated out of 100 per subject.

For ICSE Class X and XII exam, the total 100 marks per subject are divided in a way that 80% marks are based on evaluation of the final examination and 20% are based on internal assessment conducted in schools.
