New India Assurance Company, Mumbai published Advertisement Notification for the Recruitment News of Generalist & Specialist officer Posts. Basic pay of Rs.17,240/- in the scale of Rs.17,240-840(14)-29,00O-910(4)-32,640 and other admissible allowances as applicable. Total emoluments will be Rs.36,000/- approx in Metropolitan centers.
The applicants must be Degree from recognized university in the relevant discipline or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government. Applicants Age Limit should be between 21 to 30 Years as on 01/10/2014. Selection will be based on Online Written Exam & Personal Interview. Emoluments & Benefits : Basic pay of Rs.17,240/- i n the scale of Rs.17,240-840(14)-29,000-910(4)-32640 and other admissible allowance as applicable. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.36,000/- p.m. in Metropolitan Centers. Other benefits such as Pension under New Pension system governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. shall be as per rules. The Officers are also entitled for Company‟s / leased accommodation as per norms. The salary scales are under revision with effect from August 2012.
Age Limit : 21 – 30 years ; Relaxations as per Government Rules
Probation Period : A candidate appointed in the Officers‟ cadre on regular pay rolls of the Company shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining the duty. The probation period may be extended twice by a further period of six months at a time stretching up to one year. (During the probation period the Officers would be required to pass the non-life “Licentiate Examination” conducted by Insurance Institute of India. Only after passing the said examination the Officer will be eligible for confirmation of his/her services in the Company).
Selection Process : Online Examination followed by Personal Interview.
Application fee : Rs.600/- for General and OBC Male Candidates (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PH/women candidates belonging to all category) – The fee payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
